Get ready to see the action at the 2020 Queensland Athletics State Half Marathon Championships.
Brisbane’s Great South Run Festival in 2020 will again be based in Paradise Road Park on Paradise Road Algester. All events will take place wholly along the newly surfaced and super fast IAAF-AIMS certified Paradise Road course.
Paradise Road Park is a short 400m walk along Sheep Station Gully from either Triantha St or Yorrell St Algester.
The Queensland Athletics State Half Marathon Championships in 2020 will see a record number participants.
Participants, supporters, clubs and sponsors and are encouraged to set up a marquee in Paradise Road Park on Saturday afternoon from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Motor vehicle access to Paradise Road Park during this time for tent drop off will be only via the north gate of Paradise Road (near Gardens Dr). Traffic Controllers will be in attendance, let them know you’re dropping off a marquee. Please note, the south gate of Paradise Road near Radius Dr will be closed.
